El estilbestrol como estimulante del desarrollo de bovinos

Abstract

Bajo condiciones de pastoreo en invierno en Chihuahua, vaquillas de un año implantadas con 24 mg de dietil-estilbestrol aumentaron significativamente más rápido que otras no implantadas. Las vaquillas implantadas tuvieron un aumento promedio de 12 kg más que las no implantadas a un costo de $2.5 (pesos) por implante de 24 mg.
